DR. CYNTHIA H. HOWARD, DCC
Host of
Words of Wisdom with Dr. Cynt
A professional with over 30 years of experience in Coaching, Consulting, Mentoring, and Counseling. She is the owner/President of Cynthia Howard Consulting (CHC), LLC working with people who are tired of being mistreated, unsafe, and judged in their environment AND who desire a safe place to share their feelings openly, conquering everything negative. In addition, she is a retiree of Pratt & Whitney/United Technologies Corporation where she completed 40 years of dedicated service as a Human Resources Professional with experience in Human Resources management, leadership development, staffing & recruitment as well as other HR strategies, programs and processes that drive employee fulfillment, diversity & inclusion.
Dr. Howard is saved and very active in church activities serving for over 50 years in various assignments, such as Administrator to the Church, Pastor and Youth Department, member of the Church Council and President of the College Assistance Ministry at St. John’s Full Gospel Deliverance Church, Inc. Her ministry/passion is to help people from all walks of life understand that relationships impact every situation encountered in life – spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, financially and in the business environment.
Dr. Howard received her A.S. in General Studies from Manchester Community College, a B.TH. in Theology from the Teamer’s School of Religion, a B.S. in Business Administration from Eastern CT State University, a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Doctorate in Christian Counseling (DCC) from Christian Leadership University, holds a Certificate of License as Minister of Christian Counseling from Communion With God (CWG) Leaders Network, on the Board of Directors for Hartford City Mission, a 100 Women of Color class of 2021 honoree, recipient of the New England Theological Consortium Humanitarian Service Award and published Author of When Your Heart Hurts: Healing From Life’s Wounds.
Dr. Howard believes in preparation and learning something new every day, hence when the opportunity arose to become a DJ and the voice of gospel at Power Muzic Radio, she prayerfully committed to learning the radio industry and sharing her life’s experiences as the host of “Words of Wisdom – with Dr. Cynthia Howard.”
Cynthia and her husband Edward D. Howard, Jr. reside in Bloomfield, CT and have been blessed to raise four young men during their marriage of thirty-two years.
